[origin: WO2004011722A1] The invention relates to a dryer section for drying a paper, cardboard, tissue or other fibrous web (1) in machine for producing and/or upgrading said fibrous web (1), wherein the fibrous web (1) is guided over a plurality of heated drying cylinders (2) and guiding rollers (4), supported by at least one drying sift (3). According to the invention, the humidity cross-section and the flatness of the fibrous web (1) are improved in that a plurality, preferably two, humidifying devices (5, 6) are arranged inside the dryer section, at various positions in relation to the fibrous web (1), in which the liquid quantity applied to the fibrous web (1) can be separately adjusted in regions transversally to the direction of displacement (10) of the web.
