[origin: WO2004007869A1] The invention relates to a working gantry with the following features: the working gantry comprises a device (1) for supporting and/or positioning a working platform (2), the device (1) for the working platform (2) is effectively connected to a first arrangement (4) to which the working platform (2) is fixed. The first arrangement (4) has a support (12), by means of which the working platform (2) may be supported to one side against a counter-support or a wall (7). The working platform (2) comprises a second arrangement (9) on an opposing side (6), by means of which the working platform (2) may be supported. Said second arrangement (9) is connected to a lifting gear (11). Said lifting gear (11) is connected at one end thereof to the working platform (2) and connected at the other end thereof to a vertically running strut (14) in a fixed or displaceable manner. At least one further vertical strut (33) may be applied to the working platform (2) at a separation from the first vertical strut (14), which serves for the support of one or more transverse struts (30).
