[origin: WO2004013510A2] A disc brake, for a commercial vehicle, operated pneumatically or by electric motor, comprising a brake caliper (1), an application device and at least one adjuster device arranged with the brake caliper, is characterised in that both adjuster elements (9, 10) of the at least one adjuster device (7, 8) are fixed in a non-rotating manner to a common connector plate (15, 16) in the region thereof facing the brake lining and/or a single- or multi-piece thermal insulation layer (13, 14) is at least partly applied to the connector plate or parts connected thereto on the side thereof facing the relevant brake lining (3, 4) to form a region like a pressure piece.
