Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004017346A1] The invention concerns a mechanical device for connection and disconnection between a data input and a data output. It comprises a body (1) including a first network (5) of data conducting wires (6) at one of its ends and a second network (8) of data conducting wires (9) at the other end, an intermediate component (2) including a third network (11) of data conducting wire segments (12), said intermediate component (2) capable of being in ON position such that said segments (12) are located in the extension of said conducting wires of the first and second networks (5, 8) of data conducting wires, thereby enabling data to be circulated and capable of being in an OFF position such that said segments (12) are not located in the extension of said data conducting wires of at least one data conducting wire network, thereby interrupting data circulation. The invention is useful for making secure computerized and networked systems.
