[origin: EP1527803A1] The snow grip pivot axle (34) is located between the position on the ski (10) for the tip of a ski boot and the position for the ski boot heel. The snow grip (30) is secured to the ski or binding (20) and comprises at least one blade (52) which can be pivoted between a position in which protrudes beneath the ski runner surface (12) and a position in which it protrudes above this surface.
