The hand tool (10) has two arms (12,14) that are respectively provided with a jaw portion (30,48), and that are pivotal relative to one another. The jaw portions form a jaw (86) having an adjustable aperture. One (48) of the jaw portions of the two arms is displaceable on the appertaining arm.

Um ein Klemmen-Handwerkzeug, umfassend einen ersten Schenkel (12) mit einem Maulteil (30) und einen zweiten Schenkel (14) mit einem Maulteil (48), wobei die beiden Schenkel relativ zueinander schwenkbar sind und die Maulteile ein Maul (86) mit einstellbarer Öffnungsweite bilden, so zu verbessern, daß es auf möglichst universelle Weise einsetzbar ist, ist vorgesehen, daß der Maulteil des ersten Schenkels und/oder des zweiten Schenkels an dem zugehörigen Schenkel verschieblich ist.
