[origin: EP1527855A2] The slicing machine has an electrically driven circular cutter (3), an adjustable stop plate (11) and a carriage (2). It has a turning knob (14) on a control head (12) which can be operated by one hand, and is mounted on a console (13). The cutting cycle of the carriage is activated by a turning ring (15), which can be turned in either direction against a spring.
