A method for assembling a double row bottle carrier from a flat card pressing has panels with holes to position over the necks of the bottles and with one panel (9) with radial tags (18) in the holes to provide a ratchet grip under the crown corks of the bottles. An additional panel is provided, comprising two half panels (8a, 8b) each with one row of holes and linked by two panels (27a, 27b) punched with wide carrying slots. The carrying slots are folded together to form a double walled carrying handle which is folded flat over the tops of the bottles and which can be erected into an ergonomic carrying handle.

Es wird ein Zuschnitt aus Kraftkarton und ein aus diesem hergestellter, mehrreihiger Flaschenträger (37) beschrieben. Der Zuschnitt enthält ein mittleres Bodenteil (5), zwei beidseitig an dieses angrenzende Seitenteile (6, 7), zwei an je ein Seitenteil (6, 7 grenzende, übereinander anzuordnende Deckenteile (8, 9) und einen Traggriff, wobei die beiden Deckenteile (8, 9) und das Bodenteil (5) mit in wenigstens zwei Reihen angeordneten, zur Aufnahme der Flaschen (38) bestimmten Öffnungen (17, 22, 24) versehen sind. Erfindungsgemäß weist wenigstens eines der beiden Deckenteile (8) oder das Bodenteil zwei in Richtung der Längsachse (2) beabstandete Decken- bzw. Bodenteilabschnitte (8a, 8b) zwischen denen ein den Traggriff bildendes, zwei zusammenhängende Griffteilabschnitte (27a, 27b) aufweisendes Griffteil (27) angeordnet ist (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
