[origin: EP1528023A1] The machine for passing a stream of books (5) from a conveyor (1) moving in a transverse direction (FQ) on to a conveyor (2) moving in a direction (FP) at right angles to it or vice versa has a pair of swiveling guides (3). These hold each book as it passes from the exit (13) of the first conveyor to the entry (21) of the second.
