Abstract (en)
A sound deadening guardrail for roads, particularly for the lateral side of the road, for a road embankment, or for the side of a bridge, comprising several elements that usually belong to two separate barriers, which serve respectively for the absorption of sound waves and for safety.The guardrail includes the supporting posts (of the anti-noise panels or sound absorbing panels) which at the same time insure safety in the event of an accident, in addition to components of a traditional guardrail, which preferably are fixed to said posts. According to the homologation class, the mutual distance between the supporting posts that support the anti-noise panels may be chosen more or less wide, and/or possible intermediate posts - not integral to the anti-noise panels - could also be added.
