[origin: EP1528325A2] The gas cooker point has a gas burner with a mixing chamber bounded by a burner cover. The gas cooker has a restrictor unit constructed as at least one saucepan support element (21) adjustably installed on the cooker top and which changes the flow passage of the burner cover depending upon the position of the restrictor unit, whereby the restrictor closes outlet orifices in the burner cover. At least one guide element is formed on the burner cover to adjustably guide the pot support element.
