[origin: WO2004024449A1] The invention relates to devices for maintaining at least one lift device (03) on a cylinder (01) of a rotary press. The devices are arranged in a channel (07) of the cylinder. The channel comprises a wall (12) and an opening (11) directed towards the lateral surface (02) of the cylinder. At least one wall (08) of a tangent (T) on the lateral surface on the opening extends from the opening at an acute angle in relation to the channel. The devices comprise a deflection-resistant retaining means (19), provided with a first end (21) and a second end (22), which is pivotably mounted in the channel. The first end holds a bevelled limb of the lift device introduced into the opening and is disposed at the second end of the bearing and pivoting point of the retaining means. A dimensionally stable bar (23), which rests on the wall of the opening extending towards the channel at an acute angle, is is arranged in the channel. A method for mounting said devices is also disclosed, in addition to other embodiments of said device.
