[origin: WO2005019010A1] Disclosed is a valve arrangement for a power steering mechanism, especially a steering valve arrangement for a power steering mechanism that is used in motor vehicles, for example. An output member (22) of the servo system is supported by a preferably hydraulic force in accordance with the position of a servo valve (44) in such a way that the power of repulsion effective during actuation of a driving member (22) of the servo system is converted into a manipulated variable (56) for the servo valve (44). The invention is characterized in that a housing section (42) in which the driving member is mounted can be displaced in a directed manner when the power of repulsion is effective, the displacement of said housing section (42) being used for obtaining the manipulated variable (56) for the servo valve (44).
