[origin: WO2004022896A1] The invention relates to a web of film for the construction industry, which is configured partly in a diffusion-open manner (4b) and partly in a diffusion-blocking manner (4a). Said web of film comprises a diffusion-open area (4b) on one side of an axis that runs in the longitudinal direction of the web while comprising a diffusion-blocking area (4a) on the other side of said axis. The back of the inventive web is provided with an expandable sealing band (9) made of foamed material while the edge region of the face and/or back of the web of film is/are provided with a layer which can be plastered over.
