[origin: WO2004020911A1] The invention relates to a cooking device which comprises a cooking chamber and a ventilation chamber provided with a rear wall, a fan wheel being arranged in said ventilation chamber. The fan wheel is surrounded at least by a heating unit, fresh air being supplied to the ventilation chamber by a supply air duck which is arranged in said rear wall. The diameter of a disc arranged between the rear wall and the fan wheel is selected such that it completely overlaps the heating unit with respect to the rear wall.
