Abstract (en)

[origin: GB2390792A] At least first and second images are received representing the same object viewed from a first and second viewpoint. For each point of an array corresponding to parts of the object in the first image, an estimated transform is stored matching a portion of the first image identified by the point to the corresponding portion of the second image. The estimated transform determines a calculated transform for the point (e.g. by looking at adjacent points or earlier points in time) to match the portion of the first image identified by the point to the corresponding portion of the second image. The images can be of a patient lying on a mechanical couch (7) who is being treated by apparatus (6) under the control of computer (5) which received images from camera rigs (1, 2 and 3). A shutter controller is also disclosed (claim 49).
