The seal (1) fits between a pressure strip (5) and glass pane and has two sealing regions (1',1'') connected by a web (2) which serves to divide the air space between the pressure strip and fixing profile (8) . The web is spaced at least in part from the pressure strip and an insulation volume (4) is set between the strip and web. Independent claim describes facade of post and bar with fixing profile with a seal set between the pressure strip and facade element.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dichtung (1), insbesondere eine Glasdichtung, für eine Pfosten-Riegel-Konstruktion, wobei die Dichtung (1) zwischen einer Preßleiste (5) und einem Fassadenelement (9), insbesondere einer Glasscheibe angeordnet ist, wobei die Preßleiste (5) die Fassadenelemente (9) durch Befestigungsmittel (6) mit einem Befestigungsprofil (8) verbindet und die Dichtung (1) zwei Dichtungsbereiche aufweist, die durch einen Steg (2) verbunden sind. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der Steg (2) zur Unterteilung des Luftraumes zwischen der Preßleiste (5) und dem Befestigungsprofil (8) dient. <IMAGE>
