[origin: EP1380684A1] Fiber lubricant comprises 30-90 wt.% of a mineral oil with a viscosity of at least 8.5 mm2/second at 100 degrees C and 11-60 wt.% of an emulsifier selected from sorbitan mono-, di- and triesters, polyglycerol esters, polyricinolates and their derivatives. Independent claims are also included for: (1) fibers coated with the lubricant after spinning; (2) cigarette filter comprising the fibers.
