[origin: EP1531431A2] The arrangement has an antenna (9) for receiving data medium transponder signals and generating electrical signals suitable for the transponder, control electronics for evaluating the antenna signals and driving a locking element depending on the transponder data, a signal acquisition device (15) for detecting antenna signals and a data acquisition device (16) for detecting and evaluating transponder data signals. The signal and data acquisition devices have units that are mutually independently activatable and interconnected. The data acquisition device unit is inactive in the basic state and activated by a signal from the signal acquisition device.
