[origin: WO03101623A2] An applicator is provided in which paint flow is facilitated utilising a grip pump bias to a paint distributor such as roller. The roller is configured within a head such that paint is appropriately distributed with limited leakage in order to allow easy operation for distributing paint upon a surface. The application also includes details of a number of refinements with respect to operation of the applicator at elevated or displaced positions, filling paint containers or canisters and providing greater paint flow control.
