[origin: WO03091135A1] An apparatus (1) for removing a wrapping film (2) from packages (3) of objects, in particular of lids (4), which has an unusual capability to transfer the lids, free of wrapping film, whilst automatically satisfying the demands of an apparatus downstream and preventing overturning, comprises a transfer apparatus provided with a seat (36) for receiving the objects and movement means (38) for moving the objects, the movement means (38) operating by thrust and by gravity. A thrust element (39) can act on the last of the objects of the group, with reference to the direction of transfer of the objects. The thrust element (39) is operatively associated with a counterweight (43) movable between a raised position and a lowered position during the stage of the exertion of the thrust on the objects.
