Abstract (en)
The tobacco line is moved by a suction belt around a return pulley to the paper adding area and held between a finger and a flat guiding area. The cooling unit (60) with ducts (72) connected to a water supply (71) is fitted with separate elements (78a, 78b, 78c, 78d) for cooling the finger, or two fingers in case of a device processing two parallel tobacco lines, and the flat guiding area (74). The fingers are cooled by longitudinal slightly conical elements (78a, 78b, 78c, 78d) which can be swiveled in position as required.
