Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1533006A1] The axe has a grip (13) with an adjusting unit to adjust length of a gripping zone (19). The zone is delimited by the unit`s adjusting edge (18) arranged at a grip`s free end and a protrusion at grip`s end integrated to a shaft. The edge is pivotally mounted around an axle (21) perpendicular to a longitudinal axle of the grip. The free end has notches cooperating with grooves and corresponding to different positions of the edge.
