[origin: EP1533038A1] The striking tool (10) is used to crush wood waste parts in particular and has a shaft (11), and a chisel head (16) to which a cutting part (20) is fixed. The cutting part has at the minimum a first and second cutting element (21a, 21b) placed one behind another in the direction of cutting. They can also be placed next to one another obliquely to the cutting direction and may have cutting teeth. The chisel head can incorporate the cutting part through two supporting sides (17,18) fixed at an angle to one another and with the cutting elements being supported on this side.
