Abstract (en)
The device has a punch (9) and a corresponding rivet set (15) arranged on opposite sides of a support (2). The rivet set contacts with sheet irons (21, 22) before punching, by displacement of the support in an approach phase. The rivet set is mounted to be movable on the support between an extended position of detecting squeezing of the sheet irons, and a stow position, for punching the sheet irons. An independent claim is also included for a method of controlling a riveting device.

Un dispositif de rivetage comprend un poinçon (9) et une empreinte correspondante (15) disposés en regard sur un support (2), l'empreinte (15) étant destinée à être amenée en contact avec au moins un élément à assembler (21, 22) avant l'action du poinçon (9), par déplacement du support (2) dans une phase d'approche. L'empreinte (15) est montée mobile sur le support (2) entre une position sortie de détection d'accostage et une position rentrée de butée, prévue pour l'action de poinçonnage. <IMAGE>
