Abstract (en)
The air intake (11) of the internal combustion engine induction system is tapered forming a bell mouth shape and is fastened to a ring (13) to the upstream end of an air tube (10). The tube may be a flexible hose made of sheep's wool (12) which can act as a silencer. A ring (14) on the downstream end of the tube may connect it to a large housing (15) for an air filter (16). Air passes into the induction manifold from the filter.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Ansaugsystem, insbesondere für eine Brennkraftmaschine. Dieses System weist ein Rohluftansaugrohr (10), ein Filtergehäuse (15) und ein Reinluftrohr auf. Teile des Rohluftansaugrohres (10) bestehen aus gesponnener und gewebter Schafwolle (12).
