Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1533766A1] From the surroundings of a signaling device (1) a visual environmental sensor (VES) (6) detects disturbance variables (DV) that impair a signal's detection. A control unit (3) regulates signals by relying on the DV. Signals are generated and detected intermittently. The same component generates and detects signals. The VES and a visual signal generator (5) detect surrounding light.
