Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004001161A1] The present invention relates to an arrangement (1) for a parking building (2) comprising a plurality of separate levels (3, 31, 32, ..., 3") for the stationing of parked vehicles (4, 41) and a number of ramps (5, 6) for driving the vehicles (4, 41) to the intended floor into and out of the parking building. In accordance with the invention, at least two levels (9, 10) are provided for the purpose of dropping off and collecting vehicles (4, 41) at the parking building (2) . Means of transport (11, 12, 13, 131) are also provided for causing the vehicles (4, 41) to be transported without a driver between the aforementioned common dropping-off and picking-up levels (9) and the parking levels (3-3°), and between the aforementioned parking levels (3-3°) and other common dropping-off and collection levels (10). A hoist arrangement is located centrally between parking areas (14 17) arranged for the storage of vehicles (4, 41) in the aforementioned parking building (2), which parking areas are arranged in pairs (14-15; 16-17) at an angle to one another on a common level (3-3n). The aforementioned hoist 25 arrangement is of double-decked execution and comprises at least two vehicle-accommodating load areas mutually connected but situated at separate floors, and the horizontal stationing direction and the transport direction for vehicles (4, 41) in the hoist are set at an angle between the 30 aforementioned two vehicle-accommodating hoist load areas (20, 21)
