[origin: WO2004025138A1] The invention relates to an elastic rubber bearing provided with an intermediate tube, i.e. a bush bearing with a reinforcing insert arranged in the elastomer body of the bearing. The aim of the invention is to develop a bearing which enables pre-tension to be produced in the elastomer inside the body of said bearing after vulcanization has occurred by calibrating the outer sleeve, said pre-tension being distributed as evenly as possible in relation to the periphery and in an axial direction. This is achieved by providing the bearing, which is otherwise constructed in a manner known per se, with a reinforcing element which is embodied in the form of an intermediate tube which is slotted on both sides in relation to the axial extension thereof.
