[origin: WO2004023596A1] The invention relates to an attenuation or termination element comprising at least one resistance part (3, 3') which is mounted in an outer conductor (2) and has at least one connection to an inner conductor part (7, 8). Said resistance part (3, 3') is produced from at least two separately produced plate-shaped parts (4, 5; 4', 5') which are preferably provided with a central slit (12, 13) enabling them to be fitted together. Said attenuation or termination element (1, 1') can be economically produced and has high heat dissipation.
