Abstract (en)
Starting from an elongated working platform assembled on a scissor-type foldable structure, said platform has the particularity of being fragmented into three sectors (1), (2) and (3) hinge-connected to one another through a pair of links (5) and with the collaboration of two pairs of transverse shafts (7) connecting each link (5) with the two platform sectors between which it is located, such that when the ironing board is in an inoperative state, the end sectors (2) and (3) of its platform can be folded over the upper face of its intermediate sector (1), with a drastic dimensional shortening of the board. In parallel, the scissor-type lower structure also has the legs thereof fragmented into two foldable spans also allowing a drastic shortening thereof in an inoperative state, such that they do not project with regard to the intermediate sector (1) of the platform when folded over the lower face of the latter. <IMAGE>
