The lock has a slot (16) by which the bolt moves the balk lever (3), to be held by a spring (14) loaded catch plate (4), on a lever (7) held in the balking position by a cable (6) on the motor (5) shaft (8), trapping the bolt. The electric motor may be energised to release the lever and catch plate.

Es wird ein Kraftfahrzeugschloß mit einer Schloßfalle, einer Sperrklinke und einem Motor zum Öffnen der Sperrklinke vorgeschlagen. Ein einfacher, robuster Aufbau wird dadurch ermöglicht, daß das Kraftfahrzeugschloß ein flexibles Zugmittel aufweist, das vom Motor zum Öffnen der Sperrklinke aufwickelbar ist.
