Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1536181A2] The gas tap has an actuating shaft (47) and operating knob (13) and an associated guide element (67) which guides the actuating shaft free of play as it projects out from the cover part of the gas tap. The guide element can be made of plastics and has a holding flange (69) for holding additional components such as an LED display. Independent claim describes gas hob and burner with gas tap as above.
