[origin: WO2004023919A1] The invention relates to a clip (1) for a dummy strap (1), said clip comprising two clip elements (2) which can be pivoted in relation to each other and have co-operating clipping regions (3). In a closed clipping position of the dummy strap clip (1), inner facing surfaces (6) of the clipping regions (3) are arranged against each other, and the surface (6) of at least one clipping region (3) at least partially consists of a material having a lower hardness than the material of the clip elements (2). The clip elements (2) are formed by the limbs of a U-shaped profile (8), the apex (8') of said profile being embodied as the pivoting axle or region for the clip elements (2), and the clipping regions (3) of the dummy strap clip (1) are separated in the relaxed open position thereof.
