Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1538092A1] A transport box can be folded from a use position, in which it can be charged with objects, to a lower out-of-use position, in which its is of approx. half the original height. Several positioning elements (3,4) each have at least two holders (25) next to each other, and each of these is formed to retain a section of one of the objects. The elements may be stacked on top of each other, and the box is arranged to accommodate at least one stack when in use position, and to hold the elements singly when in out-of-use position. The box has front and rear guide bars (15,20) for the stacks. The box has a base (7) with front pockets for lifting truck forks. The positioning elements are of plastic, and the objects to be transported are exhaust system assemblies esp. for cars.
