The soundproof wall has plate-like insulating elements (4a,4b) between a front wall (2) and back wall (5). Ventilation means such as spacers ensure ventilation of at least some sections of the insulation plate to divert moisture. The spacers can comprise profiled metal or plastics sheets or can be formed by grooves.

Beschrieben wird ein Lärmschutzwandelement mit einer Vorderwand (2), einer von der Vorderwand (2) beabstandeten Rückwand und mindestens einem zwischen der Vorderwand (2) und der Rückwand angeordneten, vorzugsweise plattenförmigen, Dämmelement (4a, 4b). Ferner weist das Lärmschutzwandelement Belüftungsmittel für eine zumindest abschnittsweise Belüftung der Dämmplatte (4a, 4b) zur Ableitung von Feuchtigkeit auf. <IMAGE>
