Abstract (en)
The dial has a ceramic upper unit (1a) having enamel layers (3) on its outer surface. A ceramic lower unit (1b) is provided with a hole (2) to receive a steady-pin (9) by sticking and/or pressing, before assembling the two units by a glue joint (4) and a peripheral weld (6). The two units have same dimensions and have same thickness of about 0.4 to 0.5 millimeters. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an enameled dial with pressed steady-pin.

Le cadran est réalisé à partir d'un premier élément (1a) en céramique dont la surface externe est revêtue d'une à deux couches d'émail (3) et d'un deuxième élément (1b, 8, 10) pourvu d'un logement (2) pour le chassage/collage d'un pied (9) avant l'assemblage final desdits premier (1a) et deuxième (1b, 8, 10) éléments par collage et/ou soudage. Le deuxième élément peut être en céramique (1 b) ou en métal (8) et avoir les mêmes dimensions que le premier élément, ou être formé par un bloc métallique (10) venant se loger dans le premier élément (1a). <IMAGE>
