[origin: WO03074262A1] The invention relates to a pressing device (6) for a double-band press (33), comprising at least the following pressure-transmitting elements: an upper heating plate (4a) and a lower heating plate (4b) which can be impinged upon by a pressure force (P), supporting plates (7) which are secured to the heating plates (4a,4b), and slideway linings (8) which are arranged on the supporting plates (7) and are provided with slideway surfaces for slideable arrangement on circulating metal bands (3a, 3b) of the double-band press (33). Lubricant holes (17) are formed in the heating plates (4a,4b), supporting plates (7) and slideway linings (8), in order to supply lubricant to the slideway surfaces (24). Means (27, 35, 24, 26, 37, 48, 50, 52, 54) which increase resistance to flow are provided outside the slideway surfaces (34) in order to ensure in a simple manner that material is continually fed in constant pressing conditions, especially over the transversal extension.
