[origin: DE10241894A1] The windscreen wiper unit has at least one first drive mechanism, which can drive the first side of an eccentric bearing (18) acting as a crank, and at least one first wiper arm holder (28) which is connected to a second side of the eccentric bearing. A second additional drive mechanism (24) is provided to determine the movement between the eccentric bearing and the wiper arm holder. The second drive mechanism connects the eccentric bearing and wiper arm holder. A link is connected to a pushrod for the movement of a second wiper arm holder.
