[origin: WO2004011755A1] The present invention is a direct-point attachment glazing (bolted glass) system (20) comprising: (1) a polymer interlayer (28); (2) at least one sheet of glass (24); (3) at least one receptor for an attachment means; and (4) at least one attachment means, wherein the polymer interlayer (28) is bonded on at least one surface to at least one sheet of glass (24), and wherein at least one receptor (22) is adhesively bonded to the glass by the polymer interlayer (28) in such a way that the receptor (28) is positioned to mechanically accept the attachment means.
