[origin: WO2004025867A1] The invention concerns a method for controlling activation of an electromechanical actuator via a command transmitter and a command receiver placed respectively one upstream and the other on the actuator power supply line. One activating command includes a temporal sequence of a whole number of half-periods during which the line is open and a whole number of half-periods during which the line is closed. The method is characterized in that a stop command consists in opening the line for a duration strictly longer than one half-period, followed by a closure of the line. Said command method is simple, economical, reliable and has short reaction time to a stop command and requires no other wiring apart from the electric power supply wiring of the actuators.
