Abstract (en)
The piston (10), designed to be fitted in an aerosol contaimer between the product to be dispensed and a propellant gas, has a forward end in the form of a hollow recessed body (1) linked to a cylindrical wall (2) and has a forward-facing conical lip (3) of constant thickness. The piston is moulded in one piece from a thermoplastic material, with the lip having a preferable angle of taper of 15 - 25 degrees, and a length/ thickness ratio of between 15 and 20 : 1. In its unstressed state, the forward edge (32) diameter of the lip is greater than the internal diameter of the container.

Piston (10), destiné à être introduit dans un boîtier distributeur aérosol pour séparer le produit à distribuer du gaz propulseur, comprenant une partie frontale (1) en forme de corps creux profond renversé reliée à son extrémité bas à une paroi cylindrique (2) munie à son extrémité antérieure (21) d'une lèvre antérieure (3) conique orientée vers le haut, caractérisé en ce que ledit piston est réalisé par moulage en seule pièce d'une matière thermoplastique appartenant au groupe comprenant les matériaux suivants: polyesters linéaires thermoplastiques; polyamides; polycarbonates; polyoxyméthylènes; polyméthacrylate de méthyle, copolymères à base d'acrylonitrile; mélanges polystyrène et polyoléfine; leurs mélanges et leurs alliages; en ce que l'angle du cône formé par ladite lèvre antérieure est compris entre 10° et 30°; et en ce que ladite lèvre présente un élancement longueur/(épaisseur moyenne) compris entre 10 et 25. De préférence, la paroi cylindrique (2) dudit piston est également munie à son autre extrémité (22) d'une lèvre postérieure (4) conique orientée vers le bas. <IMAGE>
