[origin: EP1541736A2] A household sewing machine has bobbin located on a spindle within a surrounding capsule. The bobbin core engages with and locks on the spindle with a side spring-operated discrete locking element that is inclined with respect to the bobbin axis (X) of rotation. As soon as the bobbin is placed on the spindle, the locking element tilts and engages to the spindle core (9). The locking element is located fixed within the spindle core central void and engages with the capsule core spindle.
