Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1541769A1] The barrier has a horizontal side rail subjected to vertical supports. A lower protecting screen is formed by assembling horizontal segments (110, 120) situated between the supports. The screen slides on a traffic lane. Each segment is of composite structure, and comprises two longitudinal reinforcements (111, 112) combined with a non metallic and deformable sliding unit (113).
