[origin: EP1541776A2] Securing section (1) used for mounting in particular awning housing (50) and/or guide rails into or onto which a marquee extension section can be slid out. It contains a cable running along its length and/or a cable duct. One part is isolated electrically from a second which contains the electric leads. The section has two side parts pointing upwards and a cross-part running between them, making the side parts extendable and whereby the building part jutting over the side parts following their extension can be secured through clamping or by a form-locking connection.
