[origin: EP1542098A2] The spring housing device has a fixed plate-shaped component with a circular opening (5) in which a spring housing (1) can be rotatably mounted, a spring core (18) rotatably mounted coaxially to the spring housing and enclosed by a spiral spring connected at its ends to the core and housing. A crown wheel with a gear rim is connected to the spring housing and a first wheel of a wheel mechanism is connected to the core. The circular opening passes right through the plate-shaped component and the spring housing has two radial support regions (3) extending over the diameter of the spring housing.
