[origin: WO2004013018A1] The invention relates to the manufacturing of a folding-packet type packaging for cigarettes, preferably a container-type packaging, wherein a blank, consisting of a main blank section (17) and a collar (15) joined in a single-piece thereto, is used. The entire blank arising therefrom is processed according to the cross-winding principle. The collar (15) is connected to the packaging blank (17) by means of a folding line (41) located on the edge in the region of outer packet side lobe (18).
