[origin: WO2004032549A2] Disclosed is a method for preparing a connection transfer of a user terminal which is compatible with two different wireless communication systems from a first base station of a first of said wireless communication systems to a second base station of a second of said wireless communication systems, data being transmitted at least from/to the first base station within frames that are divided into time slots. According to the inventive method, transmission from and/or to the user terminal is interrupted during one frame.
