[origin: EP1543892A1] The machine has a length holder, a bending stand moving on a machine bed (1), with a support plate (5) for a bending head (6), and drives for stand, plate, and bending head. The drive units are located stationary on the machine bed. Profiled shafts (15,16) are mounted on the bed along a movement path (8) of the bending stand to transmit the drive movement from the stationary units to the stand. The drive units are electric motors, and drive force is transmitted via the profiled shafts to toothed gears (17,18), toothed belts (20,21), chains, etc. to the support plate and the bending head.
