Abstract (en)
Disclosed is a method for the production of an aluminium alloy support for digitally imageable lithographic printing plates characterised in that said support is prepared by continuously casting molten aluminium to form a strip having a thickness less than 30 mm, followed by cold rolling, optional heat treatment, correction of the plate and then graining the aluminium support.
